Dana’s story
is a very rare and very severe genetic disorder. In the first months of life, a baby develops, acquires new skills, starts to talk and play with toys. Dana even tried to eat on her own, but then she regressed and lost the skills she had acquired. Dana is now unable to control her body and has a loss of coordination. Now it is very important to continue therapy and keep working, so that the regression is not so rapid and there is a chance to regain the skills acquired. After Dana’s diagnosis, her mother was forced to quit her job and devote herself entirely to her daughter. The family therefore needs financial support to continue regular physiotherapy sessions.
